A few meters away from "Eligas" you will find taverns, restaurants and several shops from where you can get everything else you may need.
If you want to enjoy yourself here is the chance: Just 100 meters further - at the central square of the village -, you will find cafeterias, bars and clubs, as well as live music at times.
At the surrounding area there are lots of sightseeing's which are worthwhile visiting, either on foot or by car, bus e.t.a. In addition, if you are fan of the sports there are many chances which you shouldn't miss.
Georgioupolis has also got rental offices for you to hire a car, a motorcycle or a bicycle, - useful for your tours -, as well as a regular bus service towards the towns of Chania and Rethimno.
