Kastrorouga

Kastrorouga complex spans an area of 22.000 sq. ft. girdled by stone wall of height up to 33 ft. Parts of the wall are very old with thicknesses that reach 4 ft.
The interior spreads out at several layers with independent structures so that every part is different and with a unique view. The free interior spaces are decorated with assorted flowers. The flowerbeds are made with ancient stones.
At the S.E. part there is a stone house of 465 sq.ft that has a kitchen, a fireplace witch mantelpiece, a built-in double bed, small lounge and a bathroom, with plenty of oblong windows and a narrow door. The style follows the Byzantine rhythm. The house can accommodate 4 to 7 people. Price ranges from 50 to 70 €.
There is a refurbished house, according to the Minoan style, namely sofa rooms and a beam-supported roof, with smaller beams as binding wedges.
The house consists of: a) A lounge and b) 4 independent en suite sofa rooms each one with a balcony. The price is 50 € per sofa-room.
At the Northeast part there is another house of 645 sq.ft. with kitchen, bathroom, lounge, built-double bed and a hanging balcony, the Juliet's balcony. The windows are oblong, Byzantine style.
It can accommodate 4 to 12 persons, and the price ranges from 60 to 150 € depending on the number of guests.
In the complex, there are three more independent flats that can accommodate 2 to 4 persons. Price ranges from 50 €, depending on the season and the number of guests.
Inside the complex there is a kiosk with refreshments. Traditional foods can also be served.
There are two swimming pools, one for adults and one for children. Recycling of the water for those pools creates a unique spectacle: Water passes through a natural orifice of a rock and ends in a pond.
Kastrorouga complex lies in the entrance of Alikampos village, in the district of Apokoronas towards the road to Sfakia. It is in the middle between the cities of Chania and Rethimnon at a distance of 35 km from each. The same distance approximately seperates Alikampos from Sfakia, as well.
The village is in a semi-mountainous area that has given many archaeological finds of the pre-Minoan and Minoan era. The name of Alikampos also has historical at roots. In the village there is the temple of Madonna, buelt in the 10th century A.D. Another temple was discovered at its foundations that dates back to the 5th century.
Its murals are indelible and evoke admiration to many tourists. Alikampos is at an altitude of 1,150 ft. and has a very salubrious dry climate since there are many ravines in the area that generate streams of recycled air.

Die Einheit "Kastrorouga" ist im Jahr 2000 entstanden,und ist umgeben von einer 1,20 m dicken, alten Steinmauer in einer Hoehe bis zu 10 m.
Der Innenhof liegt in verschiedenen Hoehen, und jeder Platz ist anders und einzigartig mit seinen Gebaeuden und mit seiner einzigartigen Aussicht...
Im Suedwesten befindet sich ein steingebautes Haus von 43qm, und beinhaltet Kueche, Kamin mit trad. Steinsofa,in der Steinwand eingebautes Doppelbett, ein kleines Wohnzimmer und ein Badezimmer. Im Haus sind viele schoene rechteckige Fenster und enge Tueren. Die Kunstart ist nach byzantischer Richtung. In diesem Haus koennen von vier bis sieben Personen beherbergt werden. Der Preis ist von 60 bis 150 Euro.
Es gibt hier ein restauriertes Haus, gebaut ungefaehr in der minomischen Zeit, das heisst, mit Dachzimmern wo die Decke mit dicken Holzbalken, befestigt aus Lehm und Erde mit kleineren Holzbalken, noch gebaut wurden. Dieses Haus besteht aus: a) Eingangs- und Wohnzimmer, b) 4 seperate Dachzimmer mit eigenem Bad und Balkon. Der Preis ist 50 Euro pro Zimmer.
Im Nordosten befindet sich ein anderes Haus von 60qm. Es enthaelt Kueche, Bad, Wohnzimmer und ein in Steinwand eingebautes grosses Bett mit einem "Juliet's Balkon"! Die Fenster des Hauses sind eng und rechteckig nach byzantischer Art. Es koennen vier bis zwoelf Personen beherbergt werden. Der Preis ist 60 bis 150 Euro, abhaengig von der Personenzahl. Diese Einheit beinhaltet noch drei andere unabhaengige Apartements, wo 2 bis 4 Personen beherbergt werden koennen. Der Preis ist von 30 bis 50 Euro, abhaengig von der Personenzahl und der Saison. Ausserdem erwartet Ihnen in dieser Einheit ein Kiosk mit Erfrischungen und eine Taverne mit traditioneller kretischer Kueche. Zwei Pools finden Sie hier, eins fuer die Kinder und eins fuer die Erwachsenen. Der Pool hat eine eigene, spezielle Umwaelzanlage, und aus einem kleinen Wasserfall wird das Wasser dem Pool zugefuehrt!Die Gartenanlage ist rund um die Einheit angelegt mit vielen verschiedenen Blumenarten und Steintreppen gebaut aus uralten Steinen.

Το συγκρότημα "Καστρόρουγα" έχει έκταση 2000 τ.μ. και περιβάλλεται από πέτρινο τοίχο ύψους μέχρι και 10 μέτρων τμήμα του οποίου είναι παλαιότατων χρόνων με πάχος 1,20 μ.
Ο εσωτερικός χώρος κατανέμεται σε διαφορετικά επίπεδα ώστε κάθε χώρος να είναι διαφορετικός και μοναδικός με τα ανεξάρτητα κτίσματα του και την μοναδική του θέα. Στο Ν.Δ. μέρος βρίσκεται ένα πετρόχτιστο σπίτι 43τ.μ. που αποτελείται από κουζίνα, τζάκι με πεζούλι, εντοιχισμένο διπλό κρεβάτι, μικρό σαλόνι και μπάνιο με πολλά στενάμακρα παράθυρα και στενή πόρτα. Η τεχνογνωσία είναι βυζαντινού ρυθμού. Το εν λόγω οίκημα μπορεί να φιλοξενίσει τέσσερα έως επτά άτομα, η δε τιμή του είναι απο 60 έως 150 ευρώ.
Υπάρχει αναπαλαιωμένο σπίτι, κατασκευασμένο κατά το Μινωϊκό τρόπο δηλαδή με σοφάδες και η σκεπή του με δοκάρια και ενδιάμεσα αυτών μικρότερα δοκάρια σκίζες και χώμα και αποτελείται από τους παρακάτω χώρους:
α) Σαλόνι υποδοχής β) 4 ανεξάρτητους σοφάδες με την δικό τους τουαλέτα και μπαλκόνι. Η δε τιμή είναι 50 ευρώ ανα σοφά. Στο Β.Α. μέρος βρίσκεται άλλο σπίτι 60 τ.μ. με κουζίνα, μπάνιο, σαλόνι, εντοιχισμένο μεγάλο κρεβάτι με κρεμαστό μπαλκόνι "Το μπαλκόνι της Ιουλιέτας" Τα παράθυρό του είναι στενόμακρα Βυζαντινό ρυθμό. Μπορεί να φιλοξενίσει από τέσσερα έως δωδεκα άτομα, η τιμή του είναι 65-100 ευρώ ανάλογα με τα άτομα που θα φιλοξενηθούν. Στο συγκρότημα υπάρχουν ακόμα τρία ξεχωριστά διαμερίσματα, ανεξάρτητα μεταξύ τους που μπορούν να φιλοξενίσουν 2-4 άτομα. Η τιμή τους κυμαίνεται από 30 έως 50 ευρώ ανάλογα με την εποχή και τα άτομα. Το συγκρότημα περιλαμβάνει κιόσκι-αναψυκτήριο και κουζίνα με παραδοσιακό φαγητό. Υπάρχουν δύο πισίνες, μια για παιδιά και μια για ενήλικες. Η ανακύκλωση του νερού δημιουργεί ένα μοναδικό θέαμα περνώντας από μια τρύπα φυσικού βράχου και καταλήγοντας σε λιμνούλα.
Οι εσωτερικό ελεύθεροι χώροι είναι γεμάτοι με λογής-λογής λουλούδια. Τα παρτέρια είναι φτιαγμένα από πέτρες από πετρώματα εκατομυρίων ετών.
Το συγκρότημα σπιτιών "Καστρόρουγα" βρίσκεται στην είσοδο του χωριού Αλίκαμπος στον Αποκόρωνα προς την κατεύθυνση των Σφακίων, στο μέσο Χανίων - Ρεθύμνου σε απόσταση 35χλμ. από τις πόλεις αυτές και από τα Σφακιά.
Ο Αλίκαμπος είναι ημιορεινός, με αρχαιολογικά ευρύματα προμυκηναϊκής και μυκηναϊκής εποχής και το όνομά του έχει αρχαϊκές ρίζες. Στο χωριό υπάρχει ο ναός της Κοίμησης της Θεοτόκου χτίσμα του 10ου αιώνα στα θεμέλια της οποίας βρέθηκε άλλος ναός του 5ου αιώνα. Οι τοιχογραφίες του είναι ανεξήτηλες και προκαλούν τον θαυμασμό πολλών ξένων επισκεπτών.
Το χωριό Αλίκαμπος έχει υψόμετρο 350 μ. με κλήμα πολύ υγιεινό λόγω του ότι υπάρχουν τριγύρω φαράγγια με αποτέλεσμα να δημιουργούνται ρεύματα α?ρος και να ανανεώνεται ο αέρας ώστε το κλήμα να είναι ξηρό και υγιεινό.
